The Kompact modular stair is the original patented fully adjustable stair kit. Sold all over the World, it has been tried and tested for many years.

Adjustable in both rise and going, and capable of making straight, 'L' shaped or 'U' shaped stairs in 156 different layouts.

Whatever your requirement the Kompact can probably satisfy it with an attractive open stair of proven reliability. It is worth bearing in mind that where a domestic loft staircase is required, a 'U' shaped Kompact can take the same or less floor space than a typical Building Regulation compliant spiral stair. It will also give wider and better access than the equivilent spiral stair.

Because of its versatility, it is very easy to make wrong assumptions with designs for the Kompact. We strongly recommend that you run your requirements past our friendly experts, before proceeding too far in your stair project.

The Kompact stair consists of a steel support spine and vertical balusters with solid beech hardwood treads and handrail.The standard kit includes a stair balustrade to the internal angle side. 'L' shaped stairs are formed using 3 winding treads, 'U'shaped stairs using 6 winding treads.

• Heights up to 3730mm.
• 2 tread widths: 740mm. and 890mm.
• 2 tread colours: light or dark beech
• 3 steel colours: silver grey, black and white (white has grey fittings).
• Optional 2nd. side stair balustrade kits.
• Optional matching landing balustrade kits.
• Optional riser bar kit, to close the gap between open treads to less than 100mm.

You can mix and match the options to create a stair to your own requirements.

Supplied flat pack with full fitting instructions and installation DVD.
