The Matrix stair is part of a superb range of Italian designed made-to-measure stairs by the leading manufacturer New Living.

When we first visited New Living works in the beautiful countryside near Livorno in Northern Italy, we knew straight away that we would have a lasting relationship with them. The whole place has a feel of traditional craftsmanship about it. It was obvious from the works in progress that these people cared about what they made, and what they made, they made well. We are glad to report that we have not been disappointed, the stairs that we have since received have been of a consistantly high standard.

These minimalist cutting edge design zig zag stairs look superb in any environment. The clean open plan see through look will open up the space in any room. Also available is the Rampa, a sister to the Matrix. but with uncut strings instead of the zig zag. You can view the Rampa in the gallery below.

• Heights up to 4300mm.
• Widths up to 1200mm.
• Available straight 'L' and 'U' shape
• Turns made with winding treads or either quarter or half landings.
• Stainless steel rod balustrading as standard. (no vertical balustrading available with this stair)
• Treads in hardwood (various woods and stains) or glass.
• Strings in painted metal or stainless steel.

As all stairs are factory assembled before being dismantled prior to shipping. This gives us the confidence to know that when they are re-erected by our customers, everything will works as it should. Not always the case with imported product of this nature.

As each stair is custom-made, we do not publish a price list, but will be glad to supply both price and friendly technical advice on request. For your budgeting purposes, staircases in this range will typically cost between £4500 and £8000.
