The Kya space saver stair is based on the tried and tested Karina model, but with a stylish stainless steel wire wrap around balustrade, and wood effect continuous handrail. Like the Karina it provides a perfect answer to loft or cellar access where space is limited.

The interlocking steel elements have both height adjustment and flexibility, allowing for both straight and curved stairs. As the wire railing will run in straight lines between balusters poles, we recommend that only gently curving stair layouts are used with the Kya stair. Too great a curve will cause the wire to be either over or away from the tread (please contact us for advice on this).

• Heights up to 3290mm.
• 3 steel colours: black, silver grey and white (white has grey fittings).
• 2 tread colours: natural beech or dark beech.
• Optional second side stair balustrade kits.
• Optional landing balustrade kits.
• Optional riser bar kits, to reduce the gap between open treads to less than 100mm.

You can mix and match the options to create a stair to suit your own requirements.

Space saver alternate tread stairs can comply with the Building Regulations, but there are conditions and limitations of use. We recommend that you seek advice prior to purchase, either from your own Local Authority Building Control or ourselves.
