A SunPipe is a highly-reflective silverised aluminium tube, which conducts light from a clear polycarbonate dome on a roof down to a white translucent dome at ceiling level, where it is diffused into a room below.

SunPipes are easy to install. Smaller sizes normally fit between roof joists without any need for structural alteration. They can be fitted to flat roofs or pitched, tiled roofs and can be up to 8 metres long, including bends. And the ability to project natural daylight into the interior of a building is known to alleviate sick building syndrome.
